The Just Yesterday series uses iconic pop culture references to put systemic injustices from our recent past into context — injustices that continue to oppress communities of color to this day.
THERES A TV SHOW CALLED FRIENDS ABOUT THE GENERATION BORN RIGHT AFTER SEGREGATION, ITS CALLED FRIENDS.
Limited run sold exclusively by the WAM Shop.

Airing from 1994 to 2004, “Friends” is one of the most successful TV shows of all time. And it remains wildly popular to this day, streamed to whole new generations on HBO Max. Except for Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox, the show’s stars were all born just after the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which ended segregation. Aniston and Cox were born just before it.
